Liz Wanyoike Biography, Age, Career, Nationality and Cause of Death

Liz Wanyoike, Was born on November 1951, she attended Kenyatta University and graduated with a diploma in education.

She used her Ksh6 million in savings and a Ksh4 million loan after her divorce to found the Temple College of Secretarial Studies in Nairobi, with the goal of mentoring young girls and advancing education.

The college, now called NIBS, started off with just 25 students and has since expanded rapidly to include over 6,000 students.

Its branches are situated along the Thika Highway at Ruiru-Kimbo, Nairobi CBD, Ongata Rongai, and Thika Town.

The Lizzie Wanyoike Preparatory School and the four-star Emory Hotel in Kileleshwa, which offers training in hospitality and business, were two of Wanyoike’s expansions. 

Liz Wanyoike Cause of Death

It’s  Sad to announce that The founder of the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS), Emory Hotel and Liziie Preparatory Schools, Lizzie Wanyoike, has passed away. 

According to her relatives, the 72-year-old businesswoman passed away on Sunday, January 14.

“In remembrance of a wonderful teacher. Her generosity warmed hearts, and her passion sparked thought. The eulogy said, “A light of wisdom, she left an enduring mark on countless lives, shaping futures with grace.”

One of the first people to report on the story, Kameme FM broadcaster Muthoni wa Kirumba, said that Lizzie Wanyoike had fought cancer prior to her death.

“Miss Liz Wanyoike of Nibs College, RIP. 😭 Cancer will also perish!!!!!!” On her Facebook page, Muthoni said, “Dance with the angels.”
