Ghanaian rapper and ‘Made in Ghana’ ambassador, Okyeame Kwame has finally added his voice to Shatta Wale and EXIM Bank deal.
Not long ago, we reported about Shatta Wale being given GHC 2 million by the bank to help promote the locally made product and services.
There were different arguments and thoughts concerning the amount of money that was given and the person to take in charge of such a project.
Some sections of the public stressed that the money is outrageous because it could be used for some developmental project and others too indicated that Okyeame Kwame is the right person to have such a deal.
Okyeame Kwame is known to have been championing the made in Ghana agenda for some time now and has even released an album to push the agenda.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, the rapper who hails from the capital city of Ashanti Region, Kumasi emphasized that there’s nothing wrong with the reggae dancehall giant to lead that project.
He indicated that there’s the need to get more hands to push the ‘made in Ghana’ agenda hence Shatta Wale joining will help them drum it hard to reach more people.
