Ghanaian celebrities have been mounting immense pressure on Ghanaian president and ECOWAS chairman, Nana Akufo Addo to intervene in the crisis in Nigeria.
Celebrities like Nana Aba Anamoah, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson and Sandra Ankobiah are among the many stars who blasted President Akufo-Addo’s initial silene on the ongoing brouhaha in Nigeria.
In an Instagram live session video, the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker expressed his disappointment in the actions of some Ghanaian celebrities including actress Yvonne Nelson by saying
“don’t wake and come talk your mind because you think you be celebrity, you reach, you get platform, so you for use the platform against somebody’s father because if the President was to be your father, I am not sure you’ll wake up to tweet something to bash the President“.
Going hard on the some female celebrities in Ghana, he added:
” yesterday I see some tweet from Yvonne Nelson and some other celebrities and I was so hurt because indirectly you dey try talk say wanna President be at fault for what dey go and he for do something“.
“the country where the thing happened, even their own President didn’t come to say anything“, he continued.
In concluding his argument, he advised his followers and fans not to take everyone serious because they are celebrities.
