Joyce Wa Gituro who’s real name is Joyce Wairimu is a Popular Kenyan journalist that use to work at Citizen radio where she puts up a program she titled Pambazuka. She currently serves as the deputy head of radio in the royal media services.

Joyce W Gituro was born on the 5th of June 5, 1972 in Uasin Gishu County, located in the former Rift Valley Province in Kenya. She grew up with her both Parents.

Joyce attended a local primary school called Mwiruti primary school, after which she proceeded to Calvo girl’s high school, and thereafter she gained admission into Daystar University where she bagged her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication.

Joyce Gituro’s has an Humble beginning. Before she became popular on Air, Joyce was an Hawker, selling vegetables and second-hand clothes in the Eldoret’s market.
But because she has a big dream ahead of her, She chased her dream as a radio presenter after her studies. she finally got a slot to air her programs at the Royal Media in 2003.
Joyce Gituro spent over 15 years as a radio Presenter for Citizen FM before she resigned in 2018.
Then moved to Mediamax and Milele FM as an
executive radio producer and host in June 2018.
Unfortunately, they had issues in the radio station In August 2019. In June 2020 she moved to Radio Jambo were she started hosting a Sunday morning gospel show called ‘Injili Jumapili’ from 5-10 AM.
While she was still active on Air, it was confirmed that her gross monthly salary at Radio Jambo was around Ksh.580,000.
Not too long she resigned from Radio Jambo, to start her YouTube Channel. With the name ,
‘Sema Na JG,’ she was hosting live video interviews with lots of people who came sharing life-changing testimonies on her channel.
